Hiyori Sakurada stars showing Koizumi in March 27; Akari Hayami returns in different roles
Fuji TV announced on Friday that it is producing a second season for Naru Narumi's live-action television series Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles (Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san) manga titled Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san Nidaime (Ms. Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles: Second Generation), which will debut on March 27. The new season will have an all-new cast, with Koizumi protagonist Hiyori Sakurada (Saki Achiga-hen live-action show Shizuno Takakamo, seen below). Akari Hayami, who played Koizumi in the previous season, will be the star in the show, but in a different role.
Dark Horse Comics has licensed the manga and describes the story:
Previous live-action television series debuted in 2015, followed by a New Year's Special in January 2016, a New Year's Eve Special in December 2016, and last April's special. The manga inspired a January 2018 television anime. Crunchyroll broadcast the show in Japan.
